Obama take over in a few days. You would thing the DOW would be going through the roof with all the news of how Zero is going to save us all. . . . .
The reality is that the DOW had gone down for the last six sessions . . . . maybe the folks that actually know what is going on don't like Zero's plan for more bail outs. Maybe they see the real cost of all this government BS on our economy and how we will pay for this for years. Our kids and grand kids will be paying for this mess. And even with all the hype things are getting worse.
We put the wrong guy in office and now we will pay for it for years. . . . It will be a long wait until 2010. I hope we can contain the damage until then. I also hope the Republicans can get their head out of their ass and see that turning into Democrats Lite will not get them back in power. We need real Conservative Constitutionalists in power to turn this country around and help us rebuild.
You want to see us become a great country again we need to do a few key things:
Stop Nation Building. If they are no threat to us ignore them. If they are a threat squash them and move on.
Cut taxes - Big government is the problem not the solution. More money in the hands of citizens and private business will rebuild our economy
Cut Welfare - this is a hold over from the great depression and it didn't help then either. WWII got us out of the depression, not welfare.
Cut the number of Government employees (state and fed) - this goes with smaller government
Force the government to go back to the Constitution. It is only allowed to do what the Constitution says. If the Constitution does not give the government the ability to do something than it can't do it. All rights not spelled out in the Constitution belong to the state and the individual, not the FEDS.
Yes this will hurt, deal with it. We are in a bad place and getting out will hurt. Folks in the government will be out of work and have to get real jobs. too bad. The government needs to be run like a private business. No more HACKS on the pay roll
