A Free State?

Would you move if a state or states broke off from the USA and went back to doing things by the Constitution? If they were going to go back to the way things were before welfare and hand outs and had low taxes but expected you to earn your keep would you move there? Imagine a place that actually respected the Bill of Rights and was ruled by people that got voted out of office now and again and were answerable to the voters. . . Where Unions and Special Interests did not make the rules, but hard work paid off and you actually kept most of your pay?

I think I would have to give it a lot of thought. I probably would if I could manage to sell my house here in Liberal Land and go. I would love to watch the socialist receding in the rear view mirror as a bad memory. . .

Honestly, given that I live in Tennessee, I sincerely wish I would not have to move in a case like this (i.e. I hope TN would be one to split, if it came to that).

Barring that, however... Assuming Better Half and I can actually attain employment there, definitely.

Yep. Me and the cats and the guns and the books would be on our way lickety split.
