On the Radio

I am listing to a caller on talk radio complaining that McCain is talking about Terrorism as a reason to vote for him and says he shouldn't.

I don't get it. She admits that terrorism is real but does not want us being kept on edge over it. . . . excuse me????

I think this is a good example of how the liberals don't want to think about this and don't want us reminding them that we at war with the terrorists. They seem to think that we are done with this. . . I don't know why. . .

The terrorists are still looking to get to us. We are still fighting them in Afghanistan. We have damaged them in Iraq and should start to focus on Afghanistan to finish this as much as we can. I hate to be the one to say it but we may never be finished with it as long as country's are willing to support Islamic Fundamentalist and let them teach their hate of everyone else.

This issue plays to McCains strong points, sorry about that but it is a fact. I admit Obama could prove to be strong during and after an attack, but McCain has already proven he has what it takes. Is it worth the risk to find out if Obama does???

I am also sorry the liberals don't like being reminded the world is not safe. But this too is a fact. We need to be prepared then we will be safe. We can not stay safe by ignoring the fact that there are folks out there that want to kill us. I am also sorry that the liberals seem to think George Bush is the cause of this. . . . sorry but again the facts are against them. We were attacked while Clinton was in office in a number of places including a failed attack on the World Trade Center in NYC. It was only luck that saved it that time.

We are at war against the terrorists and their radical belief system. I think it will stay this way for the foreseeable future. We would be fools to let our guard down so we could feel good. We need to continue to prepare for another attack and fight against it the same way we put Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in our homes to fight fire and keep us safe. . .

Wake up folks, yes, the last successful attack was seven years ago in the US. We have all heard the news on all the attacks they know they prevented. We don't know how many they didn't find out about that they may have stopped by luck. We also all know (but may not admit) that they are not done,and they are still looking for another way to hit us again as bad or worse than they did seven years ago. Face reality and prepare for it, that is the only way to be safe.
