In case you wonder what they teach the kids in school. . . . UMass has stopped a professor from giving his students two credits for independent study if they would go to New Hampshire and work for Obama’s campaign canvasing door to door. No credits if you want to work for McCains side. . . .
Ain’t that nice? See how liberal our schools have become? What happened to teaching facts in school? I hope they do more than just say no. He needs to pay for this crap. We need to get the politics out of school and get back to teaching kids not trying to brain wash them. . . I thought colleges were supposed to be neutral in teaching our kids things? Guess not, looks like they are trying to teach them to be nice little communist/socialist. . . .
Frankly I am amazed this guy did not get away with it. I wonder who blew the whistle on him? They should be given credit for being a good citizen and stopping this crap. I am also wondering where he got the idea and if any other teachers are trying to pull this crap.
Update - it was the press that caught them and started asking the administration what was going on. The administration said they don't do that but when shown the facts things were stopped. . . . I wonder how many elections they have done this and got away with it.
And I thought they went too far giving credits for basket weaving but this one takes the cake. . .
