All I can say folks is when you have to disrupt the other guys convention with nut cases yelling during a speech you are done. Obama did not have to deal with this, why does McCain and Palin? Didn't anyone ever explain how debates, the free flow of ideas and free speech work and how they made this country great?
That is simple, the Moonbats are so scared that their Lightbringer Obama can't win on his own merits that they have to try to silence the opposition. Further proof that they are unAmerican and Obama is not fit for the job. By trying to silence McCain and Palin they have as much as admitted that they can't win if the American people learn the truth about them and the Republicans. They are telling us they know they don't speak for 51% of America and if we hear any other choices they will loose the race. . . .
Once again the Obama followers prove that they only will allow those that agree with them to talk or be heard. Not the way to run a country, and not the kind of folks I want to see running this country.
Obama, quick hint. . . You could have the best platform in the world but when you pull this shit you look scared. The actions of these fools shows that you can not be trusted with power. I would vote against you just based on this since it shows how you will treat people that don't think like you. Your side claims that Bush tried to silence the opposition then goes and does the same thing. . . .
It is now clear, if we want four more years of attacks on our basic rights then vote for Obama. . . .
If we want four more years of governments heavy hand then vote for Obama. . .
If we want four more years of Bush incompetence, vote for Obama. . . .
Thank you and your supporters for pointing that out Obama. If you are that scared of McCain then he must be doing something right. . . . . guess I will be voting for the party that allows free speech. . .
Thanks but keep the change Obama, after 16 years of fools in the White House I want someone in there that knows what he is doing. . .
Here's to McCain/Palin in the White House and four years of progress for our country!

I don't think it's fair to blame everyone on the left just because of some tremendously inappropriate Code Pink people shouting. Code Pink protests JROTC rallies, which I think 99% of Americans find odious.
I thought McCain handled the interruptions with real grace.
John
It may be only a few but they reflect on all of the left.
Those obnoxious CodePink protesters are for the left what an organization like Westboro Baptist Church is for the right. I, for one, try not to paint an entire political party, or a candidate by what the wack-job fringe does in the name of their 'side'. Obama, Biden, and the DLC have no more control over those CodePink idiots than McCain, Palin, Rove, Bush, or the rest of the Republican leadership have over the Westboro morons.
*shrug*
It was absolutely obnoxious, and the icing on the cake is they'll help the people they were protesting against and hurt those they claim to favor. Just goes to show that no party has a monopoly on stupidity.
Then again, those CodePinkos probably find Obama to far to the right, and think he's too conservative.
Elisabeth
That may be true but I have not heard the outcry against them from the left the way I have heard the right condemn WBC and those nuts. . . .
They seem to be happy to be quiet and let the few take the heat for the dirty work as long as they think it may help them in the long run. . .
JD: *shrug* That's more cause the left is lacking in courage and hates to even admit that everything's not peace, love and shrubbery than any wide-running conspiracy.
Eh. A pox on all their houses. ;)
Elizabeth
I don't think I am a conspiracy person. It is just sad that they do this and you don't hear the right doing it at the Dem convention.
Then you here Obama saying family is off limits but his attack dogs go after a 17 yr old girl anyway that has nothing to do with the election. Either he is a lier or has a lot less control then he thinks - or maybe his followers don't have any respect for him or his wishes I don't know. Whatever the reason it reflects badly on them all.
I find it sad that our elections have degraded so far that we fear even letting the other side talk, do we/they have that little faith in what they are saying? We are loosing a lot by trying to silence folks, that is very Un-American
For what it's worth, it appears that one of the hecklers was a Ron Paul supporter.
John - I am a bit surprised the a Ron supported would do it but I can believe it. Heck, I wish he was a choice too but he is not and as a third party he can only hurt the country.
I hope he gets another shot at it as he is someone I think would be good as POTUS but it won't happen this time. I wish his supporters could take a longer view and work with what he has built this time around to set him up for the next election.
Still, it was only one Ron supporter and a bunch of Dems that were the problem so I still say the Dems trying to silence speech should be a warning sign that we don't want them in office. . .
