More Obama sh*t

The latest excuse from Obama. . . How he can call himself a man never mind American is beyond me:

From Dragonwatch:

Hot on the heels of his explanation for why he no longer wears a flag Pin, presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama was forced to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played. According to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171, During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the Flag with the right hand over the heart.

'As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides,' Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting In air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.'

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this could possibly be our next President!! I, for once, am speechless. He has Absolutely NO pride in this country!!!!! This is outrageous!!!! He Doesn't deserve to be dogcatcher!!!

I have been told this was a fake news story. . . kind of like what they write all the time now in the midia but I still am not sure. This is just the kind of thing this nut would do. . .

This was passed in the 1940s. Have we seen enforcement of this code? Should we? Should someone be patrolling baseball games to make sure that everyone has their hands over their heart for the National Anthem.

The issue was initially that people do put their hand over their heart while saying the Pledge of Allegiance. Once we learned that Obama did have his hand over his heart for the Pledge of Allegiance, someone decided on pulling out an obscure and unenforced code to accuse Obama of being un-American for not keeping his hand on his heart during the National Anthem is fairly disingenuous.

Though people may be asked to pledge allegiance to the US and renounce their citizenship to other countries, I do not think that bogus tests of patriotism that are essentially invented on the spot by whoever wants to declare someone else un-American should be given any credibility at all.

Someone who wants to pass anti-flag burning legislation and other things along similar lines should be laughed at and told that he should be focusing on real work. How long have we as voters gotten fooled by issues like flag burning when much more important matters have been at stake? I remember flag burning being an issue ever since I was quite small. Has it been resolved yet. Is the flag more important than freedom of speech? People are using symbols of nationalism to try to erode our social liberties. That is wrong.

This guy is too much of a liberal that hates what we are and what we stand for. It is not so much free speech as he hates us and wants to turn us into another socialist Euroweene country. . . He needs to grow a set, stop sucking up to illegals and the UN and then we can talk about if he is fit for POTUS. For now, he ain't. . .
