Public Schools

I just heard a caller on the radio tell of how her second grade daughter got yelled at by the teacher when during a group discussion she told them her folks backed McCain. . .

The teacher yelled WHY? at her and there were other comments made that have upset this child.

This is shocking to me. It is one thing to discuss the election in school as a teaching event, but the teacher must leave out any favoritism for one side or the other. If they can’t do that then they should not be teaching.

There have been other reports of kids being attacked, or ridiculed for backing McCain. This shows how far our schools have drifted from a place of learning the FACTS to a way for the left to try to influence our kids and our country.

Maybe it is time to take a good look at who is teaching our kids and what. Of course if Obama wins then all bets are off and the schools will become “re-Education Centers” to help the rest of us understand why we are not worthy of Lord Obama’s leadership etc. . .

Guess this is why we need to talk to our kids about what they did in school today to make sure the programming does not take. . . . Teach your kid what American and the Constitution really are. . .

We need to abolish government schools. It's way past time.

I am not sure I would go that far, they were/are a good idea if they are monitored properly and we keep the politics and crap out of them. I think the founders idea of education for the masses is what has let this country get where it is. We just need to go back to teaching the right stuff, not political agendas. . .
