Redistribution of Wealth

There is a great story going around the net about a guy that had a waiter with an Obama button on serve him. When he was done with the meal he told the waiter he was going to redistribute his tip and give it to the bum on the street outside instead of tipping him. For some reason the waiter was upset. . . the bum however was happy to get the $20. . .

He goes on to talk about how folks don’t like being the ones who’s wealth is redistricted but like being on the receiving end. . .

That is probably the biggest problem with our country today. We have gone from a society that was ashamed to get a hand out, but quick to help people to a society where we expect to be given everything. . . . a welfare state. . . any wonder the folks with the money don’t want to part with it any more? It is one thing to donate what you can to help people, it is totally different to have the government take what they want from you and do it. And I don't mind helping folks get back on their feet, but I don't want to pay them to sit at home when they could be out working a real job. . . .

I am waiting in fear of the next election. I can easily see Obama getting in with a Dem Congress and the lack of any checks on his actions. . . this will lead to more taxes, a deeper recession, and who knows what. Any election that can drive up gun sales the way this one is should force any intelligent person to stop and say “what is going on? Why the fear over this?” I can also see it leading to me having to find all sorts of new ways to make ends meet like getting a second job, giving up on any spending other than home and food and my wife having to find some sort of work around caring for our three kids. That means no more hobby money, no more eating out, no more buying anything I don’t need to live right now. . . . .

You know what, if everyone has to do the same thing this recession will just get worse. Folks will start loosing jobs if people have no money to spend beyond the mortgage and feeding the family. Many people make a living off our “disposable” incomes and when that money is gone so are the jobs. . .

Folks, we need to wake up and really think about what voting for higher taxes and socialism under Obama will do. We need to make sure he does not get a blank check, we need more Republicans in Congress to offset Obama and his programs. We will be loosing free speech (any anti-Obama speech is racist you know, the media says), and we will have started down the slope of Socialism that is now destroying Europe with the politically correctness over there. Look at the riots in France when something happens they don’t like, look at the cost to the economy from the unions in France. Look at the UK where they are beginning to have a first hand understanding of George Orwells 1984. . . that is our future if we don’t wake up folks. . . . .
