President-elect Barack Obama and Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich

Not much to say here other than Obama is already in full cover up mode when he should be dealing with it and admitting that yes, as Senator I do talk to the Gov. of the state and yes I am interested in who he picks to fill my seat, and yes I told him my preference.

Why is he not doing this? What other involvement did he have? I think this is very bad as it already gives the appearance that Obama has something to hid on this and if so it will come out and weaken his administration like Whitewater did to Clinton.

Since Obama is showing he can’t handle this issue now I think we will see it used to bog him down and de-rail anything he tries to do. We are looking at a new administration that will be starting off behind the eight ball and may never recover.

Personally I think this is good for the country since he is a communist or socialist at best but our country will only be weakened by four years of more gridlock in DC. How bad this hurts compared to what he may do if he gets his way is anyone’s guess but I think this is just the start and Obama will be shown to be dirty like all the other Chicago Machine politicians and it will haunt him.

It looks like the governor had some harsh words for Obama too...

Excerpt:

'The affidavit says the governor had harsh words for the president-elect should he not help the Blagojeviches. Calling Obama a "motherf---er," the governor scoffs incredulously at the idea of appointing his preferred candidate without a kickback, the affidavit says.

"For nothing? F--- him," he said, according to the affidavit.

The next day, the affidavit says, Rod Blagojevich firmly ruled out appointing Obama's preferred successor.

"They're not willing to give me anything except appreciation. F--- them," the affidavit quotes him as saying.'
