Sounds like the Dems are starting to get wind that Obama will throw anything under the bus for his gain. Including all the promises that got votes for him on Iraq.
Maybe the honeymoon is over for him, we can only hope. At least I hope the voters have seen through him, at least enough to keep him out in 2012. . . . .

Another Mass Moment - Barnstable County

In a nutshell what they want to do is charge you for driving over the bridges to Cape Cod. They may only bill non Cape folks. How? Well they want to use cameras to take license photos, then match them to you and send a bill.
So to get the toll they need to add cameras, people to read the photos and the cost to mail out the bills. And if they pick the number wrong you get a bill even if you didn't go there and have to prove it was not you. . . .
See they claim that the Cape folks get stuck with the bill to care for the roads and bridges when over the summer the population grows to 3x normal with tourists. And the tourists don't pay for the roads they use. . . Um excuse me but the Cape lives on Tourist Dollars folks. . . they pay for rooms, food, things to do. . . you get plenty of money out of them. If you don't like tourists then tell them not to come, don't screw them more. . .
My answer to the Cape folks is simple - if you don't want us to come to the cape and spend our money, we won't come. You folks pass this and I hope the rest of us have the brains to Boycott the Cape!

Looks like Obama is already starting to push out how long he is going to keep the troops in Iraq. . . . And he will leave more "non combat" troops in there and longer than he said too. . .

Seocnd Amendment WIN
DC gets their rights BACK! There was Bipartisan support that added this to the bill to give DC representation. . . (which is unconstitutional. . .)

This bill is too important for the Democrats for Obama not to sign it. It is a giveaway to an important political constituency, the part of it that gives DC representation is also completely unconstitutional to boot! So that part is likely to be thrown out by the courts.
Yay team. And it shows that no matter what Obama and his team are saying the folks in Congress seem to know gun regulation is a loosing issue for them. . . .

Sounds like the Congress is starting to look at how to make sure we have the right "mix" of radio station owners.
57-41 a bill passed in the Senate to make sure we have the right mix.
How do we do this and why? Either they have to take away stations from the folks that own them now and give them to minorities, or they have to fund new minority owned stations. Either way we are screwed. This is un-Constitutional end of line.
They are going to take either our money or someone elses property so they can re-allocate it they way they want. This is a joke.
We need to wake up and get the government back under control and out of our lives as much as possible. If this passes it is another step to total government control of our lives. . . And the loss of free speech. All I have to ask is why is this radio only? No TV needs to be controlled? Not going after talk radio are you?. . . . ya, right, tell me another one

I said grandpa whats this picture here its all black and white it aint real clear is that you there? He said yeah i was 11 times were tough back in '35 thats me and uncle Joe just tryin to survive a cotton farm in the great depression.
If it looks like we were scared to death like a couple of kids just trying to save each other you should've seen it in color.
Ohh and this one here was taken over seas in the middle of hell in 1943 in the winter time you can almost see my breath that was my tail gunner ole Johnny Magee he was a high school teacher from new Orleans and he had my back right through the day we left.

You can't tell it here but it was hot that June and that rose was red and her eyes were blue and just look at that smile I was so proud. Thats the story of my life right there in black and white

The Assault Weapon Ban Obama said He would not ask for

They say it is to stop crime in the streets -
The Fact - the original AWB ran out after 10 years and was shown to have NO effect on crime
They say it will stop arms going to Mexico and the drug lords -
The Fact - the automatic weapons and grenades that are used in Mexico can not be purchased legally in the US NOW by civilians. A new AWB will not change that
They say it will prevent the sale of assault weapons to civilians -
The Fact - civilians can not buy Assault Weapons now - an assault weapon is capable of fully automatic fire and it is illegal to own an automatic weapon in the US NOW without special permits that are NOT easy to get.
They say it bans assault weapons -
The Fact - no, the guns it bans only look like assault weapons cosmetically. They are NOT assault weapons and with some minor cosmetic changes are the same guns use to hunt and for sport shooting and home defense all over the US. These are single shot only weapons, NOT the AUTOMATICS the gun grabbers are talking about and showing you.
Folks, show you are an adult and do your research and you will see. This is a quick way to look tough on crime that will do nothing but further degrade our rights in this country. We need to fight this ban should it ever see the light of day in Congress. They want to remove the Second Amendment because that is the one Amendment that makes sure we the people can protect the rest of them. . .
