Baby daddy a gang member. .

You have all probably heard about the infant shot and killed in Chicago (ya, shock it was there) right?  The land of no guns. .. .

Turns out the target was Dad who was also hit. . . and as no surprise to normal folks it was not random. . .

More HERE

So Dad was the target, had a long criminal history, was a gang member. . . Mom had even been shot previously. . .

Folks Chicago does not have a gun problem -they have a gang problem and until you fix that no law will do a damn thing.  This little girl is dead because Dad is a gang member, she was shot by other gang members who I am sure did not get the gun legally, and are most likely prohibited from having it by law.

And don't give me the BS they got the gun from a lax gun law state. . . folks they run drugs into this country by the boat load . .  they will run guns too.  The UK is an island and they still have the bad guys getting guns.

Stop the lies, stop the gun grabs and lets fix the real problem - criminals and an ineffective legals system to deal with them.

Dear Ed Markey

Love your new ad. . . You know the one where you argue how you will fight the NRA and Charton Heston. . .

Great ad, shows how out of touch you are with everything. . . and just another Dem Pawn of Obama.

Dude, there are no AK-47s on our streets. . . Go look at the Boston crime reports and you will find the problem is not AK-47s but gangs, knives, bats, pistols and fists . . . but the real problem is drugs, poverty, and gangs. . .

All things you are doing NOTHING about here in MA

Thanks

Thank You New York

CNN tells us all about it HERE

New York has taken the hit again.  After passing more insane gun laws than anyone else and after we all said it would do nothing but hurt the law abiding there has been another shooting.

Four dead in NY. .  guess all those new laws did nothing. . . . anyone shocked????

You shouldn't be.  We all know the problem is the person, not the gun or the tool.

This nut whom I won't name blew up his house before shooting six people and killing four of them.  To me this sounds like he know exactly who he wanted to kill, and had no plans of letting anything stop him.  You don't blow up your house if you expect to live through things. . . .

So where do we go from here?  Will the thinking people of this county finally wake up and admit that gun control does not work?  Will we now move past this gun control crap and let it go?  Give it up?  Gun control has failed yet again folks.

We need to start dealing with the real problems if we want to fix anything. . . that means the nuts and how to get them help. . . . not the tool that has nothing to do with the problem.

Another Back Door Gun Grab

Got this from Weerd who got it from Scbastian go see Scbastian sight for more info. . ..

This latest bill on gun transfers will make it almost if not impossible to lone a gun to anyone family or otherwise to try it out, go hunting or shooting WITH YOU.  hand them the gun it is a transfer and you are looking at 5 years. . ..

This is an outright attack on our ability to hunt, shoot, or share a gun with friend or family.  What they want to do is make it impossible for new shooters to learn about the sport or self defense. . ..

Here is a bit on it from them:

  • If you left town for more than 7 days, and left your gay partner, or unrelated roommate at home with the guns, you’d be committing a felony. This should be called the “denying gun rights to gays act.” Remember that the federal government does not recognize gay marriage, even if you’re state does, thanks to DOMA. 5 years in prison.
  • Actually, even married couples are questionably legal, because the exemption between family only applies to gifts, not to temporary transfers. The 7 day implication is if you leave your spouse at home for more than 7 days, it’s an unlawful transfer, and you’re a 5 year felon. I suppose you could gift them to your spouse, or related co-habitant, and then have them gift them back when you arrive back home. Maybe the Attorney General will decide to create a form for that.
  • It would be illegal to lend a gun to a friend to take shooting. That would be a transfer. 5 years in federal prison.
  • Steals the livelihood of gun dealers by setting a fixed fee to conduct transfers. The fee is fixed by the Attorney General. What’s to prevent him from setting it at $1000?
  • Enacts defacto universal gun registration, because of record keeping requirements.
  • All lost and stolen guns must be reported to the federal and local government. This means everyone will have to fill out the theft/loss form, and not just FFLs. You only have 24 hours to comply. If you lose a gun on a hunting trip deep in the woods, and can’t get back home to fill out the form in 24 hours, you’re a felon and will spend 5 years in federal prison.
  • Want to lend a gun to a friend to go hunting? It’s a 5 year in prison felony.
  • No exception for state permits. All transfers must go through a dealer or 5 years in federal prison.
  • UPDATE: Teaching someone to shoot on your own land is a felony, 5 years, if you hand them the gun. Not an exempted transfer.

Sorry folks, that is nuts and this bill has to be stopped!

The Cornered Cat

If you have not heard of this blog, then you need to go take a look. . ..

You can find it HERE

This is a great blog on guns, self defense and all that goes with it from a woman's point of view and the issues she has had to deal with on it.

Well done and worth the time to go read.   If you are a woman thinking about getting a permit to carry for self defense then you really need to go read it.  She can answer all those questions you have that the guy at the gun store may just not get.

And I am shocked to find my humble little blog has rated a link on her side bar. . . THANK YOU Kathy it is an honor to have a link.  Keep up the great work!

Gun Control Up Side?

Folks I am starting to see an up side to all the bull shit that Congress and Obama are trying to pull with gun control.

To start folks are waking up. . .  gun owners and folks that support civil rights are starting to see this as a big power grab by the government.  They are starting to wake up and take notice and most importantly get involved!

We are seeing folks start to pay attention to the rallies and attend them.  They are starting to write, call and visit their reps and say "what the heck are you doing?"  and "Keep your hands off my rights".  People are waking up to the real facts that gun control is not about crime or guns but control of our lives.  They are also learning that they want to own a gun, and want their rights protected. . .. if we lose the Second Amendment we will lose the rest folks.

This is a good thing. . . ..

As America wakes up it is starting to notice a lot of the other bull DC is pulling like the attempt to use Drones in the USA, all the ammo and light tanks bought by the DHS when we have budget issues. . . and all the other wasteful spending like Obamacare.

With some luck we will stay awake this time and take action.

I for one have become more active going to the rallies and pushing for our civil rights.  I am also starting to look into getting my certification to teach gun classes here in MA so I can help others get licensed. . . and if I like the classes who knows what other NRA instructor certs I may go for.

We need to stick together folks and fight for our country.  We have drifted a long way from what our founders wanted. . . that does not mean with hard work we can not get back to their dream of a free America.

Brennan does not like the Bill of Rights

More HERE

So it looks like Obama's new head of the CIA took his oath of office on a draft of the Constitution so there was no Bill  of Rights. . . . .

Tells you a lot about Obama and gang that they would take oaths without the Bill of Rights don't it?

We will need to watch him closely to see if ever learns what the Bill of Rights is or will he just stomp all over it? . . .

Violent Crime is still going down folks

Gun violence declines in America

From HERE

Gun Grabbers Don't care if the new laws work

A Colorado state lawmaker, discussing her bill to eliminate the right to carry concealed weapons on college campuses, argues against an amendment that would seek to measure whether violent crime increases or decreases after its implementation.

“I don’t know how on earth they can draw a casual relationship… I make no assertion that this bill will either increase or reduce violent crime. That is not the premise of the bill… I suppose more knowledge is better than less.”

You can get more info and see it all HERE

To me this says it all.  We want to take your rights, we want your guns, all in the name of safety but we really don't care if we make anything safer or the law works.  If it does what we say  to get your guns fine, if it doesn't then too bad we don't care.

I though the idea of all this take the guns BS was about making the world safer and reducing violet crime, save the children and all that. . . .

Scary when the truth comes out . . . Violent crime has nothing to do with taking our guns, taking our rights is what they want.  It is about control folks, over us by folks that think they are our better and the ruling class. . . . This is America, we don't have a ruling class and it is time we remove these fools from office and elect folks that believe in America, our values and our Constitution.

NY having Buyers Remorse?

Story is HERE

End result is NY is starting to feel the pain of the new law. . . they are also regretting they spent about 20 minuets talking about it in the dead of night before they passed it. . .

Now I think many are looking at the reaction and seeing themselves facing looking for a new job after the next election due to the voter anger. ..

Add to that the State Supreme Court is looking at an injunction to the law and even asked them to "tell us how this is constitutional" which is not a good start to your defense . . . . I hope they will quickly find this is totally unconstitutional as it bans folks from access to guns and gear in common use in most of the country.

DC got their gun rights on the road again for that exact reason - the SCOTUS said you can't ban folks from commonly used guns for self defense in the home (no ruling yet on outside the home) so I can see NY  losing big time on this.

The best part is if they do lose big, I hope this will pour a LOT of cold water on this whole mess of trying to take our rights.  It will be safer for us all and our country if it does.  Folks are buying guns and ammo like no tomorrow all over this country.  They are not doing this so they can turn them in later. . . I am personally scared to death that we are closer to another civil war in this country than many folks will admit or want to face.  Our people see our government as out of control with their laws, spending, and ignoring the will of the people they work FOR.

We need to get past this, acknowledge that gun rights are civil rights and the Second Amendment means what it says folks.  Then we can move on to the important stuff like fixing our economy, getting folks back to work, and shrinking our government back to a manageable size.
