Mass Gains population!

So the news today is Massachusetts has actually gained population (about 3K people if memory serves) and the Governor is all over it as good news.

Since the state is in a recession, jobs are leaving the state, folks are un-employed and can't find a new job. Taxes are going up, Government is spending like a drunken sailor.

I have only one question for the state - Who are these folks? And by that I mean do they work? are they here legally or are they what I expect . . . . un-employed illegals here to live off our welfare state and get our free medical that the state gives. . . . .

Somehow I think if you get all the facts this news story won't be seen as good news by most of the tax paying people of the state. . . .

Surprise Surprise

So all that great security that we were sold does not work. . . why does this not surprise me. The sheep were fooled, but not the bad guys. . .

Now they claim that they stopped the attack. What BS. The bomb didn't work. He screwed it up. If his bomb had been good we would be out one airplane folks. . . had nothing to do with us stopping him. . . Nice spin though. . .

Merry X mass the socialist way

Well it looks like Congress got us all more taxes and expenses for Christmas! How nice of them. Just want I wanted, more bloated big government and intrusion into my life by Big Brother!

You folks don't get it in DC do you? Does anyone look at the polls of voters any more? You do realize that most voters are against this huge budget busting piece of crap right? You do realize the economy is not turning around like all the propaganda folks tell us right? You do realize we can't afford this as a country right?

Ya, I thought you did. But you did it anyway for Obama - ya, the guy that is lower in approval ratings than any other President at this point in his term. . . . You did it to damage our country and forward the Big Government power grab didn't you?

Can't wait until next year. You think 1994 was bad with the AWB backlash you ain't seen nothing yet. EVERYONE hates this one folks, not just gun owners. . . .. Can't wait to hear the spin in a year on how and why you lost control of it all. . . . then Obama will be stopped in his tracks, with no Congress to rubber stamp his BS. We may yet save the USA - too bad you will be out of work with the rest of us when we do.

Strike One on Health Care Bill

Well at 1:15 today they sold us out.

The people we elected to uphold the Constitution and to vote OUR will did not do either.

Instead in the dead of night like thieves they voted on a "right" that does not exist and started us down the path to Government Run Health Care.

Sorry, there is no such thing as a RIGHT to health care folks. This is nothing more than a power grab by the Fed voting themselves powers that are not theirs by the Constitution and common sense. The majority of folks don't even want it now that they are starting to understand what it is.

Every one of them that voted for it needs to be kicked out of office!

Massachusetts goes over the edge

I thought Massachusetts had gone too far a year or so back when they suspended a kid from school for bringing in a spent blank cartridge a vet gave him after Memorial day. . . .

 

Well, not to be out done, Taunton MA has suspend a child for drawing a violent picture. . . . .

 

Here is the kicker. . . .

 

The teacher asked the kids to draw a picture of what Christmas was (or something like that).  the child drew a picture of a stick figure on a cross and said it was Christ on the cross. . . .

 

Parents were called, child suspended for violent drawing. . .  .

 

 

I wish I could say I was kidding but it was on the news this morning on the way to work.  The sheep here are really that nuts. . . .

 

Can't wait to see how this turns out.  I hope the teacher is ordered to grow a spine and not be such a wimp.  What happens if a child with a parent in the military draws their picture with a gun???  do we expel them???  IDIOTS. . .

Christmas Shopping

I don't know what it is but Christmas drives me nuts.  I love the other holidays we have here in the good ol USA, but Christmas gets to me.

 

It's not the religion part of it, I don't follow that. 

 

I do enjoy the family part of it, I think that is what it is all about, peace, love and family.

 

I was almost in the Christmas spirit this year. . . . SOOO close I could taste it.  I even caught myself whistling Christmas songs a few times. . . .

 

Then I hit the mall - ALL OVER!

 

I am lucky.  My family does not really NEED anything.  We have a nice home and our health.  To go out and try to buy presents is a PAIN IN THE ASS!  I am glad I was only buying for my wife.  How she does all the shopping for the rest of the family is beyond me.  We don't have a ton of money, things are tight like everywhere so this just makes it worse.  I can't buy anything big (like I want to . . .), and I don't want to buy junk or dust collectors just to say I got her something.

 

Nothing like the commercial side of this holiday to bring out all the worst . . .

 

Well, I got her a few things, I hope she likes them. . . .

 

And I will again wish Christmas was more like Thanksgiving. . .  no real money to spend other than dinner and a day to spend with the family and friends which is all that is important anyway right?
