Something to Think About

Folks, as they try to blame this economic mess on Bush please remember it started with Carter and got worse with Clinton as they tried to make it affordable for everyone to buy a home. They made the banks ease up on what was needed to make a loan, and then the government with Fanny and Freddy bought up the bad loans. Now we are dealing with issues from the Enron fix that has killed the banks so the money is not flowing.

This is not the time you want to raise taxes on people or businesses. Obama and a Dem led congress will try to tax and spend their way out of this. That is the exact wrong move if you listen to the economists. Raising taxes will just make this recession turn into a depression or worse.

McCain admits he doesn’t know the economy, but at least he admits it. He will bring in advisers that can help. Obama thinks he can fix it… He does not know what he does not know as they say in business school.

Neither candidate is a good choice for this election with the economy as the big issue. We need a Warren Buffet or other money wiz as President to try to fix this but that is not going to happen . . . we have the choices that we have.

With the market only open for about 10 minute and down 700 points we need to think only one thing here for this election. Who will fix the economy. I don’t think McCain can but at least he knows he can’t so he knows enough to get good advisers. Every time I hear Obama talk he is taxing and socializing things. Obama’s plan won’t work. We just blew a trillion dollars on a bail out (socialist idea) and since then the market has LOST 2000 points.

Someone please get an expert to take control of this PLEASE!!!! Get Congress and the government out and lets get some of our greatest economic minds involved and do what they say. . . and I doubt raising taxes will come up. . . . we need the government to stop taking money (taxes) out of our economy and let it get back on it’s feet. . . .

Do you think McCain wishes he had picked Mitt Romney as his VP now?

He certainly has more business experience than any of the four people up there now.

I am not sure Mitt would have worked as well for the bump he got. Being tied to MA would not help him.

I am thinking I wish Mitt had won not McCain though. . . .
