Folks, your town normally gets back about $0.40 for each buck the state takes in income tax. Even if the town raised the property tax to get this money back from you you would still be ahead by about $0.60 per dollar.
And to top it off the money would be spent at the town level where you can go down to the town meeting and have a say in how it is spent. Money is spent much wiser when you can watch what they spend it on. . . .
Vote YES on 1 and take back control of the spending and save yourself some cash too. . .
