Less Privacy Anyone?

Scary thought of the day. . . The government thinks we need to redefine privacy. Now why would we do that? To make it easier for them to snoop. Some day these folks are going to realize that living in a free country comes with risks, and constraints on the government. No one said it was easy to be a cop or an investigator, but passing laws to make it easier on them moves us closer to NOT being a free society. Talk about the slippery slope - well folks we are not only on it but seem to be well on our way down with these folks running things. . . .

Yet again I am reminded of Ben Franklins comment: “Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”

So Mr. Government stop trying to take away my rights and freedom and just do your job. It may not be easy, but I would rather live free with some risk than live safe in a police state.
