Tipping point

So we are there. . . .

We have reached that point where we have gone over the top and started our decline. at least 51% of the people voted for a communist.

I hope we can tie him up enough that he can't do anything for two years, then we need to take back Congress. It is going to be a long fight but if we want even a chance at stopping our slide into oblivion we need to stop Obama's plans.

I have heard talk radio here already starting to push folks to do anything they legally can to slow down or prevent Obama from working his plan. You know they will silence free speech with the "Fairness Doctrine" as soon as they can. Who knows what will come next.

All of this has gotten me thinking, when did we peak? At what point did the country start to fail? Was it the 1960s? Or maybe with the New Deal in the 1930s? Or does it go back to the Civil War when states lost most of the control and the Federal Government took over. . . . .

All I know is the USA I knew and loved is gone. I fear what will be here for my children. Socialism never worked anywhere in the world, and we just put a bunch of idiots in power that think it will suddenly work. . .

Our enemies are rejoicing at his win as they backed him. They know he is weak and will further fracture this country. As Obama takes from the workers to give to the welfare scum the country will further divide along have and have not lines. I think we have all but guaranteed a new phase of the war on Radical Islam. Within a few years (if it takes that long) I can see us forced to expand the war in the Middle East, and dealing with attacks at home.

I can also see us headed to third world status. Our economy is a mess and this fools tax and spend plans to socialize things will push us further into the recession. Companies will be closing or moving out of the US thanks to his taxes and the Unions who will now be able to strong arm their way into control with the open ballots Obama wants. Cost will skyrocket for companies in the US and they will be passed on to us. The cost of living will go up, but don't expect a pay raise.

Socialized medicine will mean none of us get the care we need due to the long lines and wait lists (see United Kingdom wait times). Crime will go up as groups like the Black Panthers are emboldened with Obama and his Black Liberation in charge. They already stopped folks from voting, what is next?

He will do all he can to kill the free market, the very thing that made the USA the success it was.

Welcome to the brave new world folks, we are in for one hell of a ride.

i can't help thinking it's awesome that there has been such long lines all over... people taking a greater interest in public issues is always a good thing

I am all for the maximum involvement of the people in our Republic, that is what the founders wanted. I get worried that so many of them just accept what the talking heads tell them and vote instead of actually looking at what they are voting for.

Had that happened I think we would have had a very different election with probably Hillary instead of Obama on the Dem side and possibly in the White House. . .

I hear the way the Media and the Schools pushed for Obama and it scares me. There is no thought there, the masses are letting the few control them and their vote. This is not good for our country no matter what side does it.
