This is a very good Letter to the Editor. This woman made some good points. For some reason, people have difficulty structuring their arguments when arguing against supporting the currently proposed immigration revisions.
This lady made the argument pretty simple, but it was not printed in the Orange County Paper. Newspapers simply won't publish letters to the editor which they either deem politically incorrect (read below) or which does not agree with the philosophy they're pushing on the public. This woman wrote a great letter to the editor that should have been published; but, with your help it will get published via cyberspace.

My wife, Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which, of course, was not printed. So, I decided to 'print' it myself by sending it out on the Internet. Pass it along if you feel so inclined. Written in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County Register:
Dear Editor:
So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants. Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.
Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer. Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented. Some would even get down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground. They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times. They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.
They had waved good bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture. Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them. All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.
Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought along side men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France, and Japan. None of these first generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from. They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini, and the Emperor of Japan. They were defending the United States of Americas one people.
When we liberated France, no one in those villages was looking for the French American or the German American or the Irish American. The people of France saw only Americans. And we carried one flag that represented one country. Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were. It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here. These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American. They stirred the melting pot into one red, white, and blue bowl.
And here we are in 2009 with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges. Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country. I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about. I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work, and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life. I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.
And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill. I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

How Politically Correct can get us killed

This is a great article on how being too PC is bad for us. You can see it time and again as the terrorists attack us on our own soil. The Lame Steam Media keeps telling us not to jump to any conclusions, it may be a Tea Party terrorist and time and again they turn out to be Radical Muslims who have had contact with terror groups in the Middle East.
Of course we don’t want to get that info out now do we?? Folks may profile and where would that get us. God knows we don’t want to learn from Israel on how to deal with terrorists, they don’t know what they are doing do they. . . .
Give it a read. Really is something to think about when even some of the media is starting to see the light on being Politically Correct. . . . how long until Obama gets it (I know NEVER)

Hey Greece, Your BROKE!
This makes me sick. The country is all but bankrupt, needed to be bailed out by the EU and what do the "public servants" do? Well riot in the streets over cuts of course! They obviously have liberal brain issues.
Folks, get over it. Face the fact that your country is out of money because they have too many of you on the public payroll doing too many hack jobs. (I can see Massachusetts in the same position soon)
But no, they want the money to bail out the country but they don't want to fix any of the issues that caused the problems. Once again you have the unions and the socialists with unreal views of reality and when they are proven to fail, they want someone else to pay the bill so they can do it again. . . . see if we do it harder this time it will work right?
The US needs to learn from Greece. We are heading the same way with all the public money (read tax payer money) being thrown around and down the rat hole of the welfare state. We have some hard and unpopular decision to make such as cutting hand outs, cutting welfare, killing the new health law, and stopping illegal's from coming into the country. If we fail to learn from Greece then our path can only take us to the same place. We need to learn from this and make the cuts now. Will it hurt? sure. Do we have a choice – only when we do it, not if. . . .

The first things Bloomberg said after the attempted bombing was that it may be someone who was against health care. . . . WTF?? This guy is like all the liberals trying to take our rights away – total tunnel vision. Any attack is from someone who is against their politics. They just can't see that the terrorists are real and still want to get us. . .
And what happened? They find the guy and he is from Pakistan and wanted to kill Americans. . .
Sorry Mayor, he was not a Tea Party Patriot, or any other of the numerous Patriotic folks you would blame for this. . . nope, he is the real thing, a middle eastern terrorist. . . a bad one but still one.

Got Water??
Boston and the surrounding area is a mess since they lost water today with a water main break. Folks are a mess over it already and it has not been a full day yet.
After seeing this, I can just imagine the chaos there would be if something really went wrong in town. . . . Thank God I don’t live in the city. . .

Illegal Immagration Law
Someone please explain to me why the Immigration bill signed into law by Arizona today is a bad thing??
Despite the liberals love of letting anyone in the country what is the problem? What this law does is says that if you are here illegally, and we find out during an dealings with you leally then we will arrest you and deal with your breaking the law.
Don’t buy the hype, they are not making immigration law, they are not changing the law, they are just enforcing it. That is all- ENFORCING EXISTING LAW folks. . . .
This is not the bad thing Obama and friends make it out to be. . this is a state trying to do what is right, enforce existing laws, and keep the illegal’s and drug dealers from south of the border out of the US. Arizona has the highest kidnapping rate in the US. . . because of the cross boarder issues with the drug lords. Anything they can do to keep illegal’s out is a good thing and protects US citizens and those here legally.
Folks, immigration is a good thing, and we need it. But like every other country in the world WE control who comes into the US, not them. We have laws and they don’t follow them, do we really want them here??? We only want immigrants who will help us grow our country, and who want to be here and become AMERICAN. . . not try to make us something else. Think about it. France, Mexico, the UK. .. they all have rules as to who can move there and live . . . why can’t we?
This law is a great start. We need at a minimum every boarder state to have a similar law in place to protect them and us from illegals. This should be made a national law but Obama has already betrayed us and will do so again with the illegals. This is only the start, wait and see how this plays out for the upcoming elections. . . .

slow posting. . .
I haven’t been posting much lately, sorry about that. . .
It has been a year since I got the new job and things have been very busy. I have also gotten started in the Free Masons and that takes up time too. The biggest dent in posting time it work though.
I have gone from a job where they wanted a Quality Engineer so they could say they had one, and would not let me do anything to one where I actually have stuff to do all day. . . This is a great improvement for me as the job is exciting, challenging, and the day goes by quickly – but it cuts my posting time down a lot. I just don’t have it in me when I get home to post, or have forgotten what I wanted to post by the time the kids are in bed and I can post at night. . . .
So anyway, I need to get motivated again and see what I can do. I may start doing more posts about Masonic stuff, at least the stuff I can talk about . . . . which is a lot. The only real secrets Masons have are two basic things – the ceremonies to confer the degrees on a Brother Mason, and the ways we can recognize each other. Everything else we do is fare game to talk about.
So I will try to mix things up a bit. I am still into the Second Amendment stuff and politics as much as ever but I need more to write about so we will be adding to it.

Seems folks are all upset because he put up a sign saying that if you voted for Obama get your care someplace else. . . . Last I checked this was legal. . .
Now folks are getting upset, or at least that is what the media wants you to think. They only found two and neither of them is his patient anyway.
To me it sounds like a great idea. It is still a free country and he is a private business that he can run any way he wants. If people don't like it then they don't go there and he goes out of business - but if they agree with him he will do fine. Obama don't like option two. . . . neither does CNN. . .
The story seems to show that the people back him since they only have two interviews against him. And the woman sounds like a fool. "I don't trust him" ok, then don't go there. . . simple you idiot.
